Hello my name is Andrew DeVito. I’ve been working as a personal trainer for the last fourteen years. After working at a very successful personal training studio in Boston I decided it was time for a change. I believe that in life you must always challenge yourself with new goals and ideas. I am now fortunate to have the opportunity to work with Marco Alvan and Team Link in Ludlow Ma.  My training philosophy is to educate the brain to connect to the various muscles we have in our bodies. When your brain has a sound connection to all or your muscles your body performs at a much higher level. Think of when you are at your job and one person is doing all of the work and everyone else is just sitting around doing nothing. The same thing happens to our bodies, we have so many different muscles and most of them we don’t even use. Imagine at that same job if everyone was working hard not just one person, that business would perform at a much higher level. The same thing can happen to your body! I don’t believe in magic pills, fads and gimmicks. I believe in using critical thinking and sound logic. My training method is based upon years of studying different sciences and fitness modalities such as anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, nutrition, pilates and weight training. I’ve worked with a diverse assortment of clients, icluding men and women of all ages and athletes such as golfers, marathon runners, rowers, and tennis players. I’ve also worked with  people with specific injuries such as lower back, knee and rotator cuff issues. When you begin any exercise program the important thing is to choose what your body needs. What works for one person may not be right for you. We are all different and that is what makes my job so interesting. I believe in custom tailoring the workout to the specific needs of the individual. Working together I feel we will achieve great things!
